BC Emergency Health Services

 

  • Director – People and Culture

    • Driving the integration of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (I.D.E.A.), while advancing leadership development, coaching, and employee wellness rooted in trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches.

  • Director – Indigenous Health

    • Providing strategic leadership to enhance culturally safe care, Indigenous engagement, and system accountability. Supporting policy development, team mentorship, and the advancement of Indigenous health equity across BCEHS.

    • Led daily operations for Indigenous Patient Navigators and anti-racism initiatives. Applied decolonizing leadership and strategic planning to improve system performance and community partnership.

    • Supported province-wide rollout of the BCEHS Scheduled On-Call Model through strategic planning and implementation.

    • Managed frontline communications and ambulance deployment for multiple health authorities, ensuring effective daily operations.

    • Coordinated real-time ambulance resource allocation in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

  • Emergency Medical Call-Taker

    • Delivered life-saving instructions over the phone to emergency callers throughout British Columbia.

  • Primary Care Paramedic

    • Provided front-line emergency care and interfacility transport, supporting patients en route to or from higher levels of care.

Hurricane High Pressure - High Angle and Confined Space Rescue

Prince George

  • High Angle and Confined Space Rescue

    • Worked at various sites for gas refineries and pulp and paper mills as a rescue technician ​

    • Performed daily safety meetings reviewing rescue systems in the event we would have to extricate a subject from a high angle or confined space.
